Do you like to win MONEY? Come play dollar bingo at the Hub with us and game winners will each win a dollar. If your are lucky, you could fill your wallet with some extra dough! Snacks will be provided.
Let’s celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a bingo party!!! It will be so much fun! We will be playing Mexican Dollar bingo, listening to Mariachi music and eathing a fun themed snack! This is event is for all ages!
VFC is going kayaking with Wahoo Adventures on the St. Croix River! We will meet at the Boomsite Private Marina and paddle over to the “island of nests”. This rookery of herons, egrets, and cormorants will have babies at that time. Kayaks are provided. Parents are welcome! No experience necessary. Cost is $10 per kayaker.
Please register total number of kayakers. Please indicate during registration if you would prefer a single of double kayak. They only have 2 double kayaks, so those will be first come, first served.
Where: You will meet us at the **Boomsite Private Marina** at: 9369 St. Croix Trail North, Stillwater, MN 55082. There is plenty of parking and a restroom. The Marina is somewhat hidden, so follow Highway 95 for about 2 ½ miles north of downtown Stillwater. You will see the PUBLIC Boomsite boat launch (vehicles with trailers) on your right first but continue north until you start seeing *No Parking signs*, then a *double yellow curve sign* with 40mph on it, Boomsite Marina is the VERY NEXT right turn with a steep downhill to the river. You will see our kayaks.
The Knights of Columbus “Tootsie Roll Drive” is an annual event that raises money for people with developmental disabilities. With your help thousands of dollars will be raised across the state this weekend.
The Fr. Finley Council of Knights have graciously partnered with VFC again this year for their drive. VFC members (with a parent) will sign up for a 1.5 hour slots the weekend of May 4 & 5 to hand out Tootsie Rolls and collect donations. Locations are Cub in Oakdale and Gertens. We have found the campaign much more effective when our amazing members do the asking! Each time slot is for 2 members, so sign up with a friend and help VFC, it is fun and easy! VFC members volunteered 63 hours last year, let’s beat that number this year and sign up to help today!
Knights will be on site to give supplies and guidance.

Calling all moms of our members! Do you crave connections with other moms of kids with disabilities? Do you need some time out with friends? Please join us at You & Me Cafe! We will get to know each other better and have a much deserved night out! This event is free.
Do you love to go bowling? Are strikes and spares with your friends your happy place? Join us for bowling at Stillwater Bowl from 1:00 -2:30 pm. We will bowl for an hour and a half and shoes are included. Fun, Fun, Fun with your VFC Friends! This event is for all ages but those 12 & younger will need an adult/PCA present at the event.
There is no school on this day because of MLK Day.
Cost is $10 per bowler, please register all bowlers.

It’s that time of year… who likes cookies, and frosting and sprinkles, oh my!! Come have fun with all your VFC friends decorating holiday sugar cookies and having a gift exchange!
