Ages and Groups

Valley Friendship Club connects children, teens, and adults, by fostering new friendships and celebrating independence. We do this by offering 3 types of events.

Kids-Connect: specifically designed for children with special needs from birth through age 12 and their families.  We hope to help meet the need in our community for younger children with special needs and their families to get to know each other for support and friendship.

TeenUp: :  Events for teens (age 13) on up to adult. Fun events to connect with your friends and hang out! If you have a fun idea for events, please let us know!

All Member/Family: Events are for all Valley Friendship Members, Family and Friends to connect and have fun! As always, all abilities, temperaments and uniqueness welcome! These events have higher attendance, therefore require more supervision/leadership, so you (parent/caregiver/pca) need to consider staying with the member attending. Considerations on age, independence, maturity, behaviors and number of volunteers in attendance. Please check with VFC staff with concerns.

Note: We will leave it up to Mom or  Dad if you think your 6th -7th  Grader would rather be in the TeenUp or Kids-Connect Group or both…your call.
